QUEBEC SKILLED WORKER PROGRAM

The Quebec Skilled Worker program serves immigration applicants on a first-come first-served basis.

Unlike under the Express Entry system, you do not have to compete with other applicants in order to be able to apply for your Quebec Selection Certificate.

Your points are not ranked against other applicant’s profiles.

DETAILS OF THE PROGRAM

Applicants are being assessed on a grid program, taking education, work experience and language skills into consideration. We will assess your profile based on the information you provided us with, and will be able to determine whether or not you are an eligible candidate for the Quebec Skilled Worker program. A job offer gives you extra points, but is not required.

WHAT ELSE IS DIFFERENT ABOUT THE QUEBEC SKILLED WORKER PROGRAM?

  • Unlike the Federal Skilled Worker program, the Quebec Skilled Worker program gives you points for minor children
  • Certain professions get extra points
  • There are no settlement funds that need to be demonstrated
  • You can provide the results of your language tests AFTER you submitted your application. That mean you do not have to miss the deadline of your program in case your IELTS/TEF results experience delays.

FREEDOM OF MOBILITY

When applying under any Quebec immigration program, the applicant must show the intention to reside in the province of Quebec. However, as a Canadian Permanent Resident, your freedom to live and work anywhere in Canada is protected under the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

If you are interested in immigration to Quebec, please do not do our assessment. Instead, contact us directly via our contact form.
